Akademia Językowa Santander Top Skills PWr SJO to cykl zajęć organizowanych przez Studium Języków Obcych Politechniki Wrocławskiej oraz Biuro Karier PWr przy wsparciu merytorycznym Santander Bank Polska S.A. w ramach globalnej inicjatywy wsparcia szkolnictwa wyższego Santander Universidades.
Projekt skierowany jest do studentów oraz absolwentów wszystkich uczelni wyższych w Polsce.
Składa się z cyklu pięciu spotkań online, podczas których odbędą się wykłady w języku angielskim prowadzone przez praktyków z obszaru rekrutacji, HR i nowych technologii w bankowości z Santander Bank Polska S.A. Zajęcia te mają na celu przybliżenie uczestnikom zarówno teoretycznych jak i praktycznych aspektów rozwoju umiejętności miękkich, wspierają przygotowanie językowe studentów do pracy w środowisku międzynarodowym i do nawiązania kontaktu z potencjalnymi pracodawcami. Projekt jest praktycznym przewodnikiem przy aplikacji o pracę, rozwija znajomość języka angielskiego i pokazuje jego przydatność w codziennej komunikacji zawodowej.
Po ukończeniu Akademii Językowej uczestnicy otrzymają certyfikat potwierdzający nabytą wiedzę. Wydarzenie daje członkom środowiska akademickiego możliwość poszerzenia wiedzy, rozwoju osobistego i lepszego przygotowania do startu w życie zawodowe.

Santander Top Skills PWr SJO Language Academy is a series of lectures organized by Santander Universitades and the Department of Foreign Languages of Wrocław University of Science and Technology with the participation of the WUST Career Services.
The project is aimed at students of WUST and other universities as well as graduates. The project comprises a series of five online lectures run by experts from Santander Bank Polska S.A. in the areas of recruitment, HR and new technologies in banking. The webinars’ main objective is to familiarize participants with both theoretical and practical aspects connected with the development of soft skills, to enhance linguistic competence which might be fundamental in a global workplace and to establish contacts with prospective employers.
The project is a practical guide when applying for a job, it develops the knowledge of English language and shows its usefulness in everyday professional communication.
After graduating from the Language Academy, participants will be awarded a certificate confirming acquired knowledge.
The whole event gives participants the opportunity to expand their knowledge, to boost personal development and to prepare better for future professional career.
The right to take part in the Academy may be granted to Students of WUST and other universities and institutions, selected by the Organizers from all sent applications as a result of recruitment based on scientific and organizational criteria.
The Academy online lectures are designed for 50 participants. In case of a higher number of applications the number of participants may be raised.

The Academy online lectures are designed for 50 participants. In case of a higher number of applications the number of participants may be raised.
Each participant will be informed about the selection for the Academy until 16th March 2021.
To receive a certificate of attendance the participant is obliged to take part in at least three out of five online lectures.
The Academy coordinator at the University is the Department of Foreign Languages of WUST.
Santander Top Skills PWr. SJO Language Academy is aimed at students of Wrocław University of Science and Technology, students of other universities as well as graduates, selected through the recruitment after the registration is closed.
The administrator of personal data of the Academy participants (name, surname, email address) is Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The data will be used only for recruitment purposes and for cooperation proposals for some chosen Participants.
