“History of Anime” and “Robots in Japan”

In these 2 short presentations, dr Toyotaka Ota will explain what "Anime" and "Robot" are in Japan by tracing their histories, and show how their original concepts still guide technological developments in the respective fields.

(Update: The topic "Robots in Japan" is moved to Friday 18.12, and it will be presented as part of “An Evening with Gundam in Yokohama." "History of Anime" will be a stand-alone 90-min presentation, followed by discussion.)
