Project concept
The Top Skills project is a response to the needs of students and doctoral students who enter the dynamically changing job market and have to meet the requirements of their employers.
The project gives its participants an opportunity to practice work-oriented communication skills.
It provides practical guidance on how to apply for a job and develop foreign language knowledge.
Top Skills’ aim is also to help understand how useful is a good command of a foreign language in the work environment and how to overcome the language barrier. Another benefit for students is an opportunity to develop their soft skills.
Project objective and objective attainment
Offering support to students and doctoral students so that they can develop their language skills necessary in the international work environment
The objective is achieved through the participation of WUST students in a series of lectures, presentations and special-purpose workshops organised by the Department of Foreign Languages.

The project coordinator responsible for project concept and implementation is Anna Kania, M.A. – Vice-Director for Organisation.

Paweł Kociński Eng. – IT support (enrolment, website updates).

Special-purpose workshops are organised and conducted by the teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages.

Project participants
Full-time and part-time students and doctoral students of Wrocław University of Science and Technology
Project participation rules
- students/ doctoral students can choose any lecture / workshop / meeting interesting for them,
- registration is run through online registration form,
- participation in lectures, presentations and workshops is free of charge,
- students/ doctoral students can participate in an unlimited number of events organised as part of the project,
the number of places at some special-purpose workshops can be limited to 50, the decisive criterion in registration is completing and sending the registration form - workshops are held in English.
Certificate
To receive a certificate of attendance the participant is obliged to take part in at least three out of four online lectures.
The administrator of personal data of the project participants (name, surname, email address) is Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The data will be used only for recruitment purposes.
