Enhancing Innovative Teaching

Programme

The Department of Foreign Languages of Wrocław University of Science and Technology strives to improve the way we approach teaching on a daily basis. We constantly aim at being innovative while applying various teaching techniques to motivate our students but also to meet their needs.

  • How to adapt teaching to the hectic pace of today’s constantly changing world?
  • How to keep our students engaged?
  • How to best recognise their needs?
  • How to help develop soft skills in a future scientist/researcher/IT specialist/valuable employee?

During International Week we’d like to share our experiences of innovative language teaching techniques. We hope our guests will exchange their ideas on successful engagement of the students, during the number of activities that will include workshops, formal and informal discussions, guest teacher presentations, and observing students’ work.

Who is it for?

We would like to invite university language teachers of foreign languages but also those who teach other university subjects. In our interdisciplinary groups we offer tuition to students from faculties of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Information and Telecommunication Technology, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical and Power Engineering, Pure and Applied Mathematics.
