Rules of telc foreign language certificate issuance

  1. telc language certificate is a document issued by telc GmbH in Germany which confirms language skills in a particular foreign language area, e.g. general, business, technical language. Telc European language examinations have been developed with reference to the standard adopted by the Council of Europe. Telc certificates are widely recognised and honoured in all European Union countries. Telc certificates enrich education, confirm acquired language skills and increase possibility of gaining attractive job and professional promotion.
  2. Telc certificate is a chargeable exam. Fees for the exam are regulated in a separate circular letter.
  3. Telc certificate is issued on the basis of passed examination conducted in group or individual mode at the levels specified by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages according to the standardized rules adopted by telc.
  4. telc certificate includes personal data: name, surname, date, place and country of birth as well as level of foreign language proficiency and overall grade and partial percentage results obtained from particular parts of examination.
  5. In case of loss of telc certificate or change of personal data a person in question may apply for issuance of a duplicate certificate.
  6. The certificate is drawn up in the language in which the candidate has taken the examination.
