In the previous years, the Translation Team from the Department of Foreign Languages worked on translations of various WUST documents, internal orders and regulations commissioned by the Department of Education, the Department of Science, the Department of Personal Affairs, the Department of Student Houses, the Department of Investment and Renovation, the Health and Safety Department, the Main Library, Wrocław Centre for Networking and Supercomputing, the Student Government and the Doctoral Students’ Council. We prepared English versions of the Study Regulations, the Regulations of the Doctoral School, the rules of enrolment and the academic calendar, the guide for new employees, as well as documents concerning the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. For a few faculties, we made translations of their websites, updating the English versions on an ongoing basis. Much effort was also put into translating scientific articles into various languages for researchers from all faculties of our University (including the new Faculty of Medicine). We have cooperated with the Disciplinary Commission for Students (ensuring both interpretation and translation of documents). Our tasks also included the English versions of subject cards. We pay particular attention to ensure the terminological consistency.

Our proofreaders have checked dozens of scientific articles for publication in English-language journals. We work with scientists at all stages of publishing, supporting them in preparing their responses to reviewers. We also issue certificates that confirm the corrections were made by native speakers of English.
