For people with disabilities

Extra-curricular foreign language classes for undergraduates, graduates and PhD students with disabilities

Objectives:

  • providing technical, assistive and educational support for students with disabilities during one-to-one classes;
  • preparing students for the foreign language courses at the level required by the curriculum;
  • supporting individual learning aimed to pass FCE, CAE and ACERT exams;
  • improving language skills for profession career;
  • preparing students for international exchange programs or studying abroad;
  • providing equal opportunities and better prospects for students with disabilities.

Offered languages:

  • English
  • German
  • Spanish
  • French
  • Russian

Form:

  • a total of 60 hours a term carried out twice a week (2 x 90 minutes)

Requirements:

  •  the Certificate of Disability

Enrolment:

  • students who due to their health have a significantly impeded ability to learn a foreign language and continue the course according to the individual course program will be admitted as the first ones;
  • additional places will be allocated to disabled students who are going to study abroad or are planning to take part in the foreign exchange programs;
  • the remaining places will be given to other students with the Certificate of Disability.

Because these courses are co-financed by the University, they are completely free of charge for students.
