Latest editions of courses in the project "Raising the language skills of students of the Faculty of Chemistry – report

In the last edition of language courses organised under the project "Raising the competences of students of the Faculty of Chemistry in response to the needs of the labour market", classes were conducted by Izabela Koszutska "Preparation for the Mondiale exam in English", Alicja Mazurkiewicz "Specialised intensive conversation course in English" and Aleksandra Więckowska "Raising language qualifications for students of the Faculty of Chemistry in the labour market". The last edition of the courses was implemented from mid-October 2018 to the end of January 2019. All courses were conducted on the basis of programmes prepared by the course leaders. The level of language proficiency was defined as B1-C1.

10 people took the Mondiale exam (2 February - written and 9 February - oral), of which 2 people were certified at level C1 and 8 at level B2. The organisational side of the examination, including the exchange of correspondence with the Examination Centre Mondiale was handled by Ms Joanna Leszkiewicz.

Special thanks are addressed to the SJO Management for providing the infrastructure thanks to which the courses could take place in suitable didactic conditions.

As in previous semesters, the courses in the winter semester were highly rated by our students both in terms of content and organisation.
