Report on the work of the project entitled "Improving the competences of students of the Faculty of Chemistry in response to the needs of the labour market" in the summer semester of the 2017-2018 academic year
As part of the project entitled "Raising the competencies of students of the Faculty of Chemistry in response to the needs of the labour market", co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund, the following types of language courses were delivered at the Foreign Language Centre of Wrocław University of Science and Technology in the summer semester of the 2017-2018 academic year:
52-hour courses in technical English at B2 level preparing participants for the Mondiale exam. In the summer semester 3 groups were formed.
24-hour conversational courses in specialist English in the working environment at B1/B2 level. In the summer semester 3 groups were formed.
12-hour conversational English course in specialist academic language at B2 level. In the summer semester 1 group was formed.
Once again qualified staff from SJO PWr English Language Department were engaged to conduct the classes. Technical language courses are conducted by: MA Izabela Koszutska, MA Joanna Leszkiewicz and MA Aleksander Brzózka. Conversation courses: MA Magdalena Kondro, MA Alicja Mazurkiewicz, MA Dorota Pytel and dr Aleksandra Więckowska.
We would like to thank all the instructors for the effort of preparing demanding specialist courses, the SJO Management for providing the necessary infrastructure to ensure high quality of education and the English Language Department for organisational cooperation.
