As part of the Techschool organized by the Department of International Affairs in 2017, a group of 20 French students came for two weeks. The students had a 30-hour English Mondiale course, which was taught by SJO staff. The Mondiale course focused on the technical aspects of learning English and ended with a final credit for the students.

TECHSummer Summer School
Summer school "3E+ = Energy + Electronics + Electricity + Environmental Engineering"
Implemented since 2013 by the International Cooperation Department and three departments (Electronics, Electrical and Mechanical-Energy). The course lasts one month in July. The main task of the 3E summer school is to exchange experiences in the field of new technologies used in power engineering, electronics, automation and information technology. Departments conduct didactic classes (laboratories and projects) in groups of six persons under the supervision of researchers from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Initially, participants of the School were doctoral students from Russia and Ukraine, since last year there are also students from Australia, China, New Zealand, India and Saudi Arabia. Initially, 18 hours of Polish language and Polish History and Culture classes were conducted in each group. In 2018/2019 - 12 hours.
Polish language and Polish History and Culture classes in English are also part of the project. Language learning is supported by one-day excursions around Wrocław and Lower Silesia.

Summer School of Polish Language for students from Ukraine
It has been organized since 2013 by SJPC and the Recruitment Department of Wrocław University of Science and Technology (and since 2017/2018 by the Department of International Affairs). Summer courses in Polish language for Ukrainian listeners led by SJPC staff are offered: monthly (100 hours - level A2 - B2) and bi-monthly (200 hours - level A1 - B2). About 50 people come every year. Apart from Polish language (five times a week for 5 hours each) the programme of the School includes 10 hours of excursions around Wrocław (Panorama Racławicka, Botanical Garden, Hydropolis, ZOO etc). A one-day trip to the mountains (Karkonosze, Góry Stolowe) is organized for integration purposes. The course ends with an ACERT certificate exam at B2 level. Almost 100% of the students choose to study at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
