Dear IT Students and Students of IT related courses,
Capgemini Software Solutions Centre and the Foreign Language Department of WUST are organising a free one-year long German course for 3rd-year undergraduate students and 2nd-year graduate students studying IT or IT related courses. The course starts with level A2 in the first term and is continued at level B1 in the second term. The German course is an independent study project developed in cooperation with Capgemini, it contains some IT elements.
The top participants have an opportunity to do an internship or work experience at Capgemini, and possibly also work there. Students can also do this course instead of a regular German course in their study programme if they obtain the consent of the Dean of their Faculty. Each student can also take ACERT – a paid language exam.
Enrolment: 22.09.21-30.09.21 on Edukacja CL. On 04.10.2021 students will take a German test which will qualify them for the course. The test will be done online.
In the academic year 2021/2022 blended learning classes are planned, i.e. traditional classes will be supported by the Virtual Learning Environment, the Foreign Language Department educational platform. If, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is not possible to have face to face classes, the course will be continued online (MS Teams).
The number of places is limited to 16 participants.
The project coordinator Marta Hamryszak-Sierpowska, M.A., Vice-Director for Part-Time Studies, Doctoral School and Internationalisation and the course manager is Beata Brocka, M.A., Head of German Language Section.
