Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is an educational platform created by the Department of Foreign Languages at Wrocław University of Science and Technology for the students and PhD candidates of our university. The materials on VLE have been developed by the teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages in six of the languages taught at our institution: English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Polish. On VLE, there are texts, audio-visual materials, tasks, exercises, specialist glossaries and tests in the areas of general language, academic language, specialist language in the field of engineering and scientific-technical language. The study materials are assigned to particular stages of study and divided by language levels, types of courses, as well as the faculties where the course participants study. The platform contains both materials designed for classwork and also for self-study through e-learning. In order to download the files from VLE, the users need to sign in with the same login and password as for their JSOS accounts.
