104 employees of our University have been awarded Long Service Medals. The decorations, conferred by the President of the Republic of Poland, were presented on 14 April.

Among the honorees were four members of the Department of Foreign Languages. The Gold Medal, awarded for 30 years of service, was granted to Dr Irina Modrzycka and Katarzyna Drozd-Piotrowska. The Silver Medal for 20 years of service, was awarded to Joanna Grusiecka and Aleksandra Kuźniak, while the Bronze Medal for 10 years of service, was awarded to Mariusz Stanisz.

The Long Service Medal constitutes formal recognition of exemplary and exceptionally conscientious performance of professional duties.
