How to choose a proper course - language course pathways

1st study cycle (6 ECTS, Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Science degree)

The student is awarded 120 hours (60 + 60) to complete language courses in 1st cycle study programmes.

  • The Foreign language 1.1 is worth 3 ECTS points
  • The Foreign language 1.2 is worth 3 ECTS points
  • NOTE: a full time international student is obliged to complete an English language course at C1.2 level.
  • It is advised that the student completes their language courses in accordance with the study plan and programme for their field of study.

The student is awarded 90 hours (30 + 60) to complete language courses in 1st cycle study programmes.

  • The Foreign language 2.1 is worth 2 ECTS points.
  • The Foreign language 2.2 is worth 3 ECTS points.
  • NOTE: a full time international student is obliged to complete an English language course at C1+ level.
  • It is advised that the student completes their language courses in accordance with the study plan and programme for their field of study.

Note: if the student had already completed a Foreign language A1/A2/B1 course in their first study cycle, in their second cycle they must choose either the same language at a higher level or another language.
