INFORMATION FOR NEW STUDENTS
from Admission Office!

  1. Students can ARRIVE TO WROCŁAW after 28th of September – that is the earliest date when they can be accommodated in dormitories.

  2. Information on accommodation in the dorm:

    a) Payments should be made at the post office or via transfer. Students should provide confirmation of payment at the dormitory office. The student will not receive the keys without showing the confirmation of the payment.

    b) The deposit is PLN 400.

    c) The rent in a 3-person room is about 400 PLN / month, 2-person room is about 500 PLN/month.  The accommodation fee is calculated on the spot depending on the number of days.

    d) To receive the accommodation the student should have: a photocopy of passport and visa or the resident's card and the confirmation of the deposit and rent.

    e) The dormitory provides only blankets.

    f) Accommodation takes place between 7:30 and 15:00 from Monday to Friday. After 3pm it is not possible to lodge in the dormitory

    To stay in a dormitory, you must have a declaration from your parents or guardians. Download the statement here.

  3. On 2 October students have to report to Polish Language Study at 11 am (Address: 8 Wybrzeże Wyspiańskiego, building H-4, room 515). They’ll receive every additional information there. Course consists of 4hrs of polish language classes. Starting from summer semester students will attend  subject classes, depending on the field of study they have chosen. The timetable will be given on 1st October.

  4. Students should have a valid INSURANCE lasting until the middle of October. After that period, they are obliged to get a new insurance.

  5. About DOCUMENTS: the scholarship holders should seek information at Embassy of Poland or Polish Consulate; student who paid for their studies - please contact admission@pwr.edu.pl

  6. Setting up an account on the system JSOS is mandatory.
    To create a new account click the following tabs (candidate - create new account - other citizenship) ATTENTION! The data entered in JSOS account should be the same as the one from your passport. The most important details to be filled in are: name, surname, passport number, date of birth, mother's name, father's name, address, current phone number.

The first meeting is going to take place on 02/10/2020 in building H4, Wybrzeże Wyspiańskiego 7-8, room 408.

From 11 a.m. on, you are asked to take part in an interview in order to verify your level of Polish and to qualify for a corresponding language course. You will be informed about the precise time of your interview in a separate email.
