On May 16, 2022 prof. A. Wójs - Rector of Wrocław University of Science and Technology,  accompanied by students and staff from the Department of Foreign Languages, participated in the time capsule burial ceremony.

Most of the items placed in the capsule were associated with the pandemic.  The capsule was buried in the Avenue of Professors right next to a newly planted maple tree Red Royal. There is a  commemorative plaque on the ground surface above the capsule to make it easier to find it in 30 years, when it  will be reopened.
